Hermanns Enclosure Advice

I have a hermanns tortoise that I recently purchased from petco. He is currently 4 inches long and I have him in a 40 gallon breeder tank indoors for the winter as I live in MA. As things warm up and the snow disappears I was wondering how big I should make his outdoor enclosure and how big of an indoor enclosure should I get for him for when he is fully grown.

Please post pics of your tort.

As far as the enclosure is concerned, it should be as large as possible, as these cute little animals are used to wandering in the wild without boundaries. Therefore they need a lot of space.
