I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they use cypress mulch for their Hermann tortoise substrate?

Yes Cypress mulch is suitable but should be only part of the hatchlings substrate, how old is your Hermann's and have you read my care sheet at the top of this forum?

I do not have a Hermann yet, just doing my reserach. But I am looking torward getting a yearling...I have read many other care sheets and a good majority of people love the cypress mulch as it contains moisture or dryness as needed and not dusty. I do not see your care sheet listed above? I am new to this forum so I am not sure where to look for it? lol

You can't miss it. It's in the sticky threads at the top of this Hermann's tortoise forum. Please read it. :)

Heidiho: You have to go out of this thread and click on "Forums" then look for the hermanni forum. The care sheet is one of the pinned threads at the top of the section.
