help with new red ear slider habitat

my name is niki ive never been in a forum. ive an adult RES and thot Iwas doing some good by putting him in a 50 gallon macourt pond ...hebwas raised in a glass tank next to a large window. he's not basking and is sitting at bottom of tank.. still eating and I have a 6500 whatever led light but im wondering if he hates thebfact its all black since he was used to and grew up in a glass tank .. any suggestions wud be greatly appreciated

How long has he been in the new area? They suffer for a bit with relocation stress. That might be what's wrong, but in the meantime, double check the water temperature, etc to make sure everything's ok in his new home.
