Most of the care info given for tortoises is wrong. That is why you are having problems. Wrong bulbs, too dry, wrong water dish, etc... Those little details, and many more little details make a huge difference for babies.

Read that care sheet. You've gotten bad info and the wrong products previously. That care sheet is the right info and the right products. I've raised dozens of temperate species babies using that info, and 1000's of forum members have too.

After reading the care sheet, come back and ask all your questions. Happy to explain why those things are recommended and why the old conventional wisdom is, and always has been, wrong.
