HELP! (inflamed skin)

I just came home about 30 minutes ago and went to check on Ollie my male RT when my brother told me to see if hes okay. I checked and under his head (the soft underside below his jaw) is red and looks inflamed instead of the normal light pink.. im very worried. He is also shedding at the moment so if that is the case... I am very scared! The soonest I can take him to the vet is tomorrow if it is a real problem.

it also looks kind of bruisy. Theres some grayish too.
