I have zoomed grassland tortoise food coming in today for my baby sulcata and does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it more appealing to eat? I've read that many young tortoises will turn there backs on this food even when it is moistened. So far all my sulcata tortoise has eaten the past day is a couple hibiscus leaves and dandelion leaves. Thank you.

Moisten it first, then mix it in really well with whatever else your tort likes to eat. My two won't eat any pellet on its own, but if I mix it in with their other foods then they end up eating it by accident.

Ditto above. Usually chopping it very small and mixing with his fave foods then spritzing, the new food sticks to the loved food and they cant help but to eat it. As they get used to it, you can make it bigger and use less of the loved food until they are eating the new food by itself. Then you can go back to mixing what ever foods you want.
