My friend Dave told me about this forum so I thought I'd join him here.
We have an aldabra, Moses, among other tortoises. I have kept tortoises since 1978 when I began with redfoots.
We got Moses from EJ 3 years ago as a yearling. He was about 6 inches, now he is 16 inches and weighs 25 pounds.
We are in Va so Moses gets to be outside from the middle of May until sometime in Oct. He has really started to grow in the last year.
Like Dave's Squirt, Moses isn't interested in my attention. He does put up with me when I feed him. Hopefully, he'll become tamer as he grows.
Well, that's the basics, I'm sure we'll be adding more in the future.
