Hello! I am new to the forum but not new to tortoises. I have two Russian tortoises, a female named Pansy and a male named Brutus. I have had Pansy for almost three years and Brutus for almost two years. We live in upstate New York. I have come to the forum for insight before but have finally made an account. Here are some photos that I have of them.

Your tortoises need to be separated immediately. The “cuddling” and “following” you see are signs of aggression, and are actually crowding and chasing. Tortoises, especially Russians, are very territorial, and only see other tortoises as mates and combatants. Please give this link a read:

Your tortoises need an 8x4 foot enclosure each.
It’s great that you joined! The minute I joined, I was hooked :)
