Thanks all. He is still just settling in at the moment. But he is fun to watch walk around. :)

Also. I am using a top soil substrate with no sand in my table. I have seen him scratch his eyes once or twice but not alot and i check him daily and he seems fine. But what is the best way to check "dampness" of the substrate. Just im not sure wether it should be dry or rather damp. :)

Welcome !!!!! I would not put any sand in there causes to many problems. Use coco chore or cypress mulch maybe organic potting soils.

i'm not sure how much humidity is recommended but you should be able to find out that information by doing a search on here or someone with more knowledge about horsfields can answer that question! oh and btw hello, welcome and Rocket is a cute name for a cute tort!

Thats cool. I think i have it covered. Just wanted to be sure. Hes only young so he sleeps alot at the moment. :D
