Hello from Florida!!

Hey everyone!
I’m from The panhandle of Florida. I don’t have a tortoise just yet. But at the end of the year I am looking to purchase my first! I’m extremely excited, as tortoises are my favorite animal. I am very interested in the cherry head red foots! They are beautiful! As of right now I’ve been doing much research on their care and habitat needs. Definitely open to any advise and looking forward to learning more about these beautiful animals.

Thank you Ray, I want to be as prepared as I can be. I also meant to write that I would prefer to by from a local breeder instead of a petstore. So I’ll have to research that as well.

There are many redfoot keepers and breeders in Florida. Redfoots come up for adoption on a regular basis, too.
