Hello All,

Just recently joined the forum and wanted to say hi. I’m completely new to tortoises and have been in the research phase the past few weeks as I am thinking of getting one soon. I’ve basically got it narrowed down to a Greek (T. Ibera) or Eastern Hermann’s and am contacting a short list of Mediterranean captive breeders.

Glad to be onboard here, looking forward to learning and excited to be starting my tortoise journey!

It's very wise to first do the research and decide on the species....Then get everything set up with a suitable enclosure and THEN get the tortoise.
Very few of us started out so well equipped.
