Hello from a not so Sunny Derbyshire UK

Good afternoon all,

Joined today, I'm in the process of getting a Tortoise & thought as it had been a while since I was around one, I'd refresh on caring etc.
I used to have a Hermans but unfortunately due to a brake up I no longer have him (he stayed with his Dad).
I'm now in a position to get a tortoise, my garden & life style are Tortoise safe & we are ready to add to our to our little family.

I'm thinking of opting for a baby Hermans, to keep inside whilst he's a juvenile. Any advise anyone could give would be great
