Yes, the face turns pink. It's quite an interesting species - they're very aggressive, but do a fair bit of 'social' display and signalling.

Hi Ella. I've had a Greek tort (Oli ) for 5.5 years and I've fallen deeply in love with him; which I'd never expected.
