Hello!!!
I am very concerned and I pressed a bit on my tortoises bottom shell and it was a bit soft!!!!!!!
I am scared!!! I supplement him twice a week
He gets mercury vapor bulb every day, he eats green lettuce endive occasional cucumber, carrots, lambs lettuce, some occasional pumpkin. He's been with me for 2 months he is 5 months old and he is a greek tortoise
He sleeps a lot but shows no signs of other stuff, he eats, and basks a little too
. I soak him every other day ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1415438358.909699.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1415438414.211408.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1415438445.478416.jpg

I think that is somewhat normal for a young one but hopefully someone who knows for sure can tell you!

Baby tortoises' plastrons have a bit of a 'give' to them for about the first 6 months to a year.

That said, that a little give in the plastron is normal, it's time to vary the diet and increase the foods you are offering. Offer cuttlebone. Run the UVB light 12-14 hours a day, and make sure the substrate is holding moisture.
