Anyone else find it creepy looking when their tort basks with all limbs way out, but head all the way in?! Not a fan.

I've got one that sleeps like he's dead. All limp.
It still scares me to see it.
It is just some total relaxation from a tortoise that feels super secure.

Looks very odd, but if he feels safe enough, and comfortable enough, let the tortoise sleep, I guess!

ive seen it with my own tort. wanted to snap a pic everytime, but his head came out by the time i grabbed my phone.
Tidgy does it, sometimes.

Myrtle does it too....except her back legs stretch limply behind her. It's slightly horrifying.

How funny!! I have never seen that before. My sulcata will sleep with his legs out, his neck stretched out as far as it can, with his head limp at the side. It is the creepiest thing I have ever seen. He totally looks dead and freaks me out every time.
Mine also do that. It sure scared me the first few times I saw them laying like that.
