Hi Everyone,

I am a new member and recently acquired a hatchling greek tortoise, i think it's an ibera. I weighed my hatchling today and Steven weighed about 33 grams. I've had Steven for about a week and half. He resides in a 50 gallon tote box with a reptiSun mercury 100 bulb that reaches to 95 degrees on the ground. His substrate is a playsand and top soil mix. I feed him dandelion, hibiscus, red leaf, endives, and bittercress. I've included a pic. thanks

33g is a good weight for his/her size. :)

I like this question!

Danny, has there been a weight to length rule of thumb guide posted on TFO for Greeks? I'm curious to watch my tortoises over time (and not have to ask you the same question every few months! :D)
