Last year I purchased this beautiful captive born Florida box turtle as a female and couldn't understand why it didn't produce any eggs after my other male mated with it. I found out why recently when this turtle showed me his manhood while soaking! I also found him mounting other turtles!
He is approximately 5.5 inches long by 4 inches wide and is a great turtle. He hasn't had any health problems while I've had him and is a great eater.
Captive born Florida box turtle ADULTS are rare and you do not see them offered for sale often. They are always wild caught.
