Hi all just wanted to check if the growth rate for my little tort is about right?
I think he is a little over a year old, I only got him at the end of June from a local reptile store.
I measured him on the 1st July she'll end to end..across the bottom by standing him on a tape measure..he was 8cm
I measured him again 3 months later exactly on the 1st October and he has grown by 2 cm!! So is now 10cm.
Is this a normal growth rate?
I want him to grow as big and in the best shape as he can

Growth is basically growth. It would be different depending on your climate, foods, etc.
To know if it is "normal" you'd need at least two and compare them in the exact situation.
If that's him in the avatar, it looks like you are doing a fine job.:)
