Hi all, just a question about the growth of our sulcata, Bulldozer. I got him as a hatchling at the same time as a friend of mine got two from the same clutch. (last September) Her two sulcatas are growing faster than our Bulldozer, is this ok? We feed him the spring mix and a calcium supplement, gets his soaks, etc. We have the appropriate lighting and he is active and has a huge appetite.

It's common. It's most likely just a difference in diet. The bigger ones probably have more protein or simply they just eat more. It's nothing to worry about. Sometimes its just personality, some are more active than others.

This is fairly normal, but I do always wonder what makes the difference. Have you checked with them to see what the difference might be? Temps, diet, hydration, space, sunshine, etc...

Any insight would be great.

We have seen this many of times also. Some may just have more of an appetite.
