She is adorable. Keep her interested. Like above my one child doesn't want mine either. What's wrong here? They should be begging us to leave our tortoises with them.

My 51/2 year old granddaughter helped me collect worms today and feed the turtles. This was the first time she'd touched worms with bare fingers, and was pleasantly surprised. The big thing here is that she is vegan, so it's a big thing for her.

I've noticed (at least in this area), very few people are interested in tortoises, probably due to the fact that these cute little animals only 'run for food.' People would rather a cat or a dog, even a bird.
