Hello everyone,
I was just given a tortoise by a gardner and have no idea what kind it is or how I should care for it. Can anyone ID it for me? It's also pretty light coloured compared to other tortoises I've seen, is that normal? It was found outside so I have it outside. It's in a box with some dirt, water dish and food (lettuce, carrot etc.), it's 36c outside (gets hotter soon) so I want to know how to care for it properly.
Cheers

Hi Outlaw:

Your pictures aren't showing up. Take a look at the "Important Threads" at the top of the "Tortoise Photos and Videos" section and see if they will offer you some help on how to post pictures on the Forum.

I uploaded the pics straight to the site, they showed on the preview.
Here are the pics uploaded to photobucket.

Looks like maybe a golden greek, however, I'm not good at I.D.ing the Mediterranean species of tortoises. Give GBTortoises a shout out (PM) with the link to this thread. He's very good at this sort of thing.

im horrible at judging cause most of my knowledge is from pics not seeing actual torts but it looks kinda like an extremely pale yellow foot maybe.
