I just hatched my last Platynota of the year. Same thing. Over 2 months after the last one hatched. I don't throw out my eggs unto they stink or sometimes even blow up. lol

Yes, I was pretty freaked out when she dropped a single egg on her enclosure floor 3 years ago.- no digging, no nothing! Remarkable how things work out. If she had not dropped the egg, I would not have prepared a place for her to dig. It's like she knew I needed a warning that bigger things were coming.

I'm not a big fan of exploding rotten eggs!, but it does happen. I guess I would rather that then toss away a viable egg. Its funny how many eggs seem to change color inside - going from clear to redish, and then stop developing. With the clear ones, well, it's clear - they are not viable, but the redish ones - seems like something was going on and I hate to be the one to decide their time is up. I let'm go as long as I can.
