Somebody my wife knows found this little fella and gave us a call. We're just going to keep it til we find its owner. Very active. No telling how long she's been on her own adventure. But for now, we're just going to take as good of care of her as possible. If ya'll look at the pic of her plastron, you'll see that it's concave, vertically. Can ya'll explain why this is?

A cute tort, though I cannot help with plastron issue: sorry, am no tort expert.

Are you intending to keep the tort? If so, please give him/her a daily soak in warm water, and read the "Beginners Mistakes Thread."

And welcome to the forum!

Well, hopefully you can keep her a bit better than she was. Like to see that pyramiding nipped in the bud. If you find her old owner, point them here.

Thanks ya'll. I've been on here before. Just been a while so I had to make a new account! But we have 2 sulcatas, Peenalope and Tuukka. People seem to kinda look to my wife and I for advice on these guys. Not planning on keeping this one, but I guess if no one claims her, I won't get rid of her lol.
And yes, I soak mine everyday, whether it be in the tub or a good ol sun bath under the hose!

Plastron looks pretty normal in that view. It might be starting to go concave if this is a male.
