I put my fresh picked weeds in cold water which hydrates them and keeps them good for a couple of days.
www.thetortoisetable.org.uk will help you learn to ID weeds if you have names but don't know what they look like.

Just a word of warning, kale made my tort pee a LOT of white stuff. She didn't seem to mind, but I did. :)

My garden isn't quite producing yet BUT I had some carrot tops coming up and Arugula (I decided to let the carrots go, most because it can't make up much of their diet..) So I decided they might like the baby leaves that I have so far..
They all ate some, but only 1 of our guys would eat both kinds.
and Now I can say YAY! They ate something that I grew!! haha :cool::D
