I was just wondering about using clippings from a food plot that is actualy planted for deer to feed to my sulcata. I planted it a few months back. I got the seed from Wal-Mart. Its the clover mix. Was wondering since it is ment to aid in trophey rack growth that it would have to many additives in it that may not be good for the tortoise. Would like to know some thoughts on it. Am planning to go back to Wal-Mart to look up the contents in the next few days. Dont want to kill it or have any adverse side affects. Thanks for your thoughts.

Last year I bought seeds from a company that caters to browsing wild animal forage. It contained a lot of clover. The tortoises love it. I doubt what you've planted would harm your tortoise.
