Cute. You might want to consider a railing on the ramp so he doesn't try to just jump off and land on his back.

I like the use of ice lolly sticks :) I agree with wellington railings would make it 100% tort safe

Will do. At first we didn't have popsicle sticks until we saw him stand up and bring himself up into the air using his arms. He nearly jumped out but I was able to stop him. 😱😂

Nice use of space! I have a second level as well, but not as advanced as yours. I made my girl's hide be her water dish holder as well so I wouldn't take up MORE of the limited space. I'll post a pic when I get home if you'd like to see. I'm planning on putting railing on the ramp as well so that she can't nose dive off :)

Beautiful enclosure and beautiful tort!

I'm concerned because of the remarkable climbing ability of the Russians. I fear the vertical sticks could be a hazard when the tort climbs up and then extends his head forward. It may be possible for him to slip while climbing and have his neck become wedged between the sticks.

I would feel safer for your tort with a solid wall that has a cap on the top to discourage climbing. With Russians we must assume they will try to climb any obstacle and succeed far more often than we would believe.

I agree with this sentiment completely. Make the top of the wall solid and everything should be safer. :) Beyond that it looks great! Nice work!
