Female Laying second egg of the season. Now Breeding again :o

This female laid an egg a few days ago and to my surprise I caught her laying this egg today. The male seemed very interested in everything she was doing, and kept following around the enclosure and paying close attention to the holes she was digging.

Not even an hour after she laid her egg he was all over her.
They were not breeding before she laid her eggs so I guess he was waiting for her to finish laying to get back into 'action'.

Unfortunately I had to sell this pair to afford a group of Spider tortoises that I was very lucky to find. The lucky new owner of these guys can expect more eggs in the next several weeks

Thats awesome. Now since you sold them you can at least hatch the little guys out and see what they produce. Are they looking to be fertile?

Only the one laid today looks fertile. Hopefully it'll produce a healthy baby pancake

hi, love the picture. they can be so sneaky. my male follows his female around like that too! lol. she trys to hide from him sometimes.what a pesk.
