I’m feeling SOOO confused!

I went to research a simple “can tortoises eat pumpkin?” well... because I want him to enjoy the holidays occasionally as well.
Sooo tell me... can my Russian Tortoise eat pumpkin? If so, how do I feed it do him?

Separately, while I was researching I ran across some articles saying 50% of his diet should be worms. Is this accurate? I’ve never heard of this! Please tell me I’m not an idiot. I’ve memorized the care sheet and it says nothing about this!!

That information should be ignored
I don't know much about Russian torts. But I know their diet isn't 50% worms.
Pumpkin is an ok "treat" food.
Not a regular food item.
