Hi

Had my Hermann (Tally) for about 10 days now. Not sure she is 100% happy.
Unsure as to what substrate... currently on sand and a recommended block that you soak and use.... but she keeps getting both in eyes and it's not fair on her.

She has the bedding that came with her as well in the areas she spends most of time in but never burrows....


Food: she hardly eats..... flower mix... fresh veg .... weeds nothing. ... what is a favourite that I can try??!?!!

Take the sand completely out it is proably to dry to stay together so it gets in her eyes
Try mizouri or grassland tortoise diet

What type of lighting are you using and what is the temperature
+1 on getting rid of the sand.
