european pond turtle feeding advice please

We are starting building our pond soon so I am preparing for european pond turtles - I've been researching into their diet and have seen that they like insects, fish and vegetables (lettuce + dandelion leaves) but these websites keep saying that feeding too much calcium or protein can be fatal but I can't find anything saying how much is right to feed them. Ive even been reading behavioural studies in the wild as well as zoo and aquarium reports/regulations but even they don't help. Does anyone have european pond turtles that can advise a feeding schedule please?

I don't know if @Markw84 knows about European pond turtles but he might know what a good amount of calcium and protein would be for turtles in general.
