I Am looking to extend my enclosure. I was planning on using block or boulders. I have a female sulcata with an 18" plastron length. From what I gather females rarely exceed 24". Yes/no? I was thinking 30". But I wanted to get the expert opinions first.

A couple cinder blocks high 3 high would be best. Ive had sulcatas for many years, Ive RARELY ever seen them climb or try and scale the enclosure walls. But its always better to be safe than sorry. 3 cinder blocks will put you at 24" high which should be good. Typically they will stay around 24" in length could be greater just depends. But thats about right on the max size at least for a good while once they reach that size you might see a little more growth out of them. Possibly 26-28" but that would be a huge female.

All my adults are contained in 18" high walls. Three six inch slumpstone blocks high.
