Enclosure cleaning?

Hello everyone! I have a 5x5 ft. enclosure for a Russian tortoise. The temp. usually is in the 80s (F°), but today it’s in the low 70s. Humidity levels are around 80-90%. So my question is, how often should I clean his enclosure? Since it is so humid and warm, I’m sure bacteria could start accumulating and everyone is telling me different things to do. I just recently built an outdoor enclosure so I’m completely lost on how to maintain it.IMG_1564077394.672221.jpg

Are you feeding this tortoise animal protein? The small, flared shell with the too-large-for-the shell body look similar to poorly fed and kept box turtles that I've taken in. This might have happened before you got the tortoise, but there's definitely something wrong there.

Just spot clean the poop and pee areas and all the left over food. Mist the substrate to keep it a bit moist, and stir it up with your hand occasionally. No need to change it out for a year or so.
