Isabelle 'Izzy'

As I'm new here, I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Izzy, and I own an Eastern Box Turtle (rather accidentally, as when I 'got' him I and my sister were convinced it was a rescue) named Tito. He's actually a she, but I simple refer to him as male for convenience. When I got him he fit in the palm of my hand, and in two short years he has rapidly outgrown that! He is my companion, and because of the young age (at least I assume) that I got him at he is very fearless and tolerates being handles marvelously. He actually has no fear of people at all, which was worrisome at first, but is now part of personality. At first I was worried that the transparency of the glass would pose a problem, but he isn't distressed and doesn't try to escape. In fact, when he likes to watch me go about, just chillin' in his cave, but watching with hawk-like intensity.
