Just because the male mounted the female, doesnt mean she became gravid.

Oh no my babies are WAYYY to young to mate!!! I'm just wondering, for the future, or the process did occur, how long it would take to see eggs being laid. I'm very much into planning ahead
Aha :)

Usually 60-90 days, but Yvonne is right. Years ago I introduced a 22 inch, 12 year old Sulcata female with my huge 23 year male who was proven and she didn't lay a single egg for the first two years of mating. In Arizona, tortoises even mate on a sunny warm winter day, but no eggs for two straight years, then bam...she laid 5 clutches very consistently after that with almost 100% hatch rate. I think some variables that really matter is environment, age, change, weight/health, and even comfort/stress to a degree.
