Wow, just realized I have a dug up spot that looks like yours in my RES enclosure, beside their pond. I have a male and a female RES.that dumb me never thought about them laying eggs. Guess I better watch out. I won't dig them up to see. I am a let nature take its course kinda person. Good luck on your eggs.
