I'm very excited - my Libyan tortoise just laid eggs! Unfortunately, I have no experience with tortoise eggs (just box turtles.) Should I just leave them where she laid them? I have an incubator, but I have box turtle eggs in it. The box turtle eggs are in a cup of soil/vermiculite that I keep moist. I also keep a cup of water in the incubator for humidity. The temperature is 85. Can I put the Libyan eggs in the incubator as well, (not in wet soil) or is this too much humidity? Help! I really want these to hatch.
