Petunia is back outside and out of the greenhouse for the season. I would even go as far as saying he is a little bit less shy than a year ago when we adopted him. I'll have to get some pictures this weekend (when the rain stops) of his enclosure...I reseeded some clover and greens for him to eat (since he seems to like that better than food served to him on a dish) and I may have been a little heavy handed.
I do have a quick question though. While he was walking on the lawn after a soak I noticed that instead on munching on the grass he was instead eating the thatch (the brown dead grass that is at the base of the lawn). While I assume it's okay, I wanted to see if anyone else noticed their tortoises eating down on this rather than the green grass?
