Eastern Fence Lizard

Ok so not a pet, but hubby found a juvenile Eastern Fence Lizard on the front door yesterday. Now I've lived in NJ all my life and in the Pinebarrens for the last 10 years and I have never seen one much less even knew we had native lizards in the area. Caught him and kept him for the day so the boys could see him when the got home. He was released this morning. So cool! Here is picture from google:

They're all over the place here in Texas. I see little ones scampering away in my back yard every day. They're pretty neat!

That's just it. I've seen lots of lizards in the south, just not here in NJ. He was a cute little guy.
