Hello! I have a redfoot hatchling, about 7 months, and recently I noticed the skin in his head is getting dry... not sure why, the humidity is always at around 85% and I'm pretty careful about his diet. (Hibiscus leaves, fruits, veggies, ocassional butterworm), and I try to take him outside daily so he gets sun rays plus he's got daylight/nighttime uva bulbs in his enclosure. As substrate he's got a bottom of coconut coir with a thick carpet of spaghnum moss to keep it moistured. Here's a picture of his head:
I'm trying to mist and soak him often to take away the dryness, but it's still there. :x Sometimes when I come back from work almost the complete head is dry. What's going on?
