I know nothing about this species but it does look like a parrot beak Homopus areolatus to my fading and untrained eye.

It's between 35 and 44 degrees here, most of the time at the moment, so i will often soak my Greek tortoise 3 times a day.
I also shower her or hose her down regularly which terrified her to begin, but now she loves it.
But i have zero knowledge of this species of padloper.
Everything you've said about her hibernating herself suggests she must be. Especially as you have had her for so longI didn't hibernate her. She hibernated on her own.
I got her last year April and her previous owners had her for 6 years.
Some members get a vet to do it .How do I trim the beak??
