Do tortoises shed?

I assume they do since they are reptiles, but I never hear anyone talk about it so I am a little worried. Carl has "scales" on the sides of his face that are peeling off and I just wanted to make sure this was normal. Here's a couple pictures to show what I'm talking about.

I noticed that on my baby Leopard. It's normal

Tortoises shed, but in pieces, not in one big go like snakes do.

Totally normal!! Especially for a growing tortoise Do NOT pick it off, let it fall off naturally. More baths can help speed that process up.
