I salute you sir for the price people like you have to pay to keep our freedom free .
I think you have to believe that this little tort really feels great being able to have someone to bond to for protection .
I have 4 redfoots of different ages & sizes.
Not sure why but Edith my 6 inch female is very social to me.
After a hard 12 hr day at work. i go out to my tort pen & sit down to unwind.
Edith will immediately come from her hide & greet me at the gate .
If i go inside the enclosure she is always walking on my feet and stays next to me where ever i walk in the pen.
The others just come out of their hides when they see a plate of food.
So yes i do beleive that some red foots form a bond wirh their owners.
So glad you have a redfoot to help you ease you're mind.
Thank you for the job you do .
God bless you & you're new friend.
Mike D.

This is a very heart-warming thread. I'm so very glad to have you as a member, Drift. I know your name is Dean, but I kinda' like the sound of "Drift." I hope you don't mind.

Thank you 81shovelhead.She kept me busy today.I just got done cleaning her after a soak and as i said in another post today she found a mudd puddle that was hid and went playing in it.She was getting at the nightcrawlers that were wiggling in there.I fuss at getting her the right diet and she gets it her damn self.Self sufficant sometimes she is.
