Do I need a humid hide?

I have an adult male Russian tort and I was wondering if I need a humid hide? If so, how would I make one ?

I don't know if you "need" one, but I thinks its good to offer.

Use an appropriately sized opaque plastic box with a lid. Fill it about half way with damp substrate and cut out a door hole just big enough for the tortoise. Then sink it into the substrate so the door hole is even with the substrate surface.
