~ This was the very first picture we took of her as we were actually loading her for transport to her new home. She is a very mature adult female aldabra that is exceptionally friendly.

~ Thank you, we do not have an exact weight yet, however she is probably in the low 200 pound range. She is for sure probably over one hundred years, just a guesstimate.

~ She is in quarantine, we are scheduling a complete health inspection with blood work and fecal analysis. Here she is getting a serious first cleaning, she was very dirty and hungry!

If you go through the threads hes started or his primary aldabra thread, you'll see some of their diet. I've seen him post a picture of a truck bed full of cactus pads for his aldabras. Legendary....that's all

Wow, congrats! I cannot even imagine how excited I would be to bring her home! The boys will be happy for sure, and likely fascinated by a new female. How long in quarantine? This is the time to add video to your thread! Seeing the initial interactions of her with the herd would be fabulous!

She looks great Greg. Very robust looking. Whatever happened with that female that is posted on fauna? She's a perfect match for Sampson. Nice and brown. Although she looks a little young maybe to produce?
