digging area?

does anyone forsee a problem with a 6" deep digging area for a desert tortoise in a tort table?

Depends on how big your tortoise is.

I don't see a problem with it, but seeing that your tortoise is only a year old I'm not sure he would really utilize the 6". My young desert tortoises rarely dig, rather they sleep in their hide and move the dirt away.

i just want him to have the option. he seems to like diggin in what he has now. thanks for the feedback!
