I bought a digital scale made sure I zeroed it out so I assume that's correct!! I will see if it changes!! I am not really sure what they should weigh at this size!

Im not saying it wrong....she is just going to be a big girl :) my little girl has been growing slowly, manly on my part. I dont feed her a lot of manufactured diets, mainly just greens, grasses and hay.

I Don't Agree, If she's 2 1/2 inches she should be around the 120-150 Gram Mark.

653g sounds too heavy

My 8 month sulcata is at the 4' inch mark and is 250ish Grams

Try your scale again, and sees what it says :)

I love the pic with her mouth open wide ready to chomp! Haha also I've never thought of incorporating bricks and making an almost tortoise table that way, great idea!

She is a cutie but that # doesn't sound right to me either. Are you sure it's set on Grams?

Is there a decimal in there. The decimal on my scale is small and hard to see sometimes. So her weight would be 65.3 grams, in other words.

Either way, she looks good. Does she use the plastic tube tunnel?

Looking good!

I agree that that number must be off a bit.

Out of curiosity, how are you dealing with birds or other vermin in your area? Or is the area sealed off?

She is never outside unattended at this point, I pull up a chair and soak up the sun and watch her roam around. I am planning in making a chicken wire and 2x4 I will post pics. Overall though I am in the city so I don't get much more than black birds. My mom lived about 10 miles away and she has tons of hawks, so that's why no alone time yet, still to paranoid.

Just out of curiosity what is something I can weigh to check scale. I weighed her again and got the same thing, I am sure it's on grams.
