I have a funny cuttlebone story, too. Taco had not touched either of her cuttlebones she'd had for two months; then, quite by accident, I stepped on her outdoor CB and broke several pieces off of it. About a week later, I saw her out there nosing something around. When I came out to investigate, I saw a large white mustache gracing my delicate darling's lips from one end to the other! Since then, every time I put her outside she goes on a voracious search for cuttlebone scraps. Meanwhile, the large intact chunk of cuttlebone sits there, ignored.
