My new Hermann's ignores her cuttlebone. I know she's had them because her breeder kept cuttlebones in their enclosures. I give her Repashy supplement daily, opuntia twice a week. I've had her just over 2 weeks- am I overly worried?

Yes, your overly worried. :D When and if they need to calcium, then they will use the cuttlebone. It's more like a backup plan for most of us. Some tortoises love them, some ignore them until one day they start using them and some never seem to use them ever. So stop worrying and spend more time simply enjoying! :D

Mine cycle between cuttlebone = MUST HAVE and cuttlebone = blah. I leave it up to them and trust them to decide how much and when.

Yup! :)

But at least you are observing behavior. This will allow you to notice any subtle changes in behavior, which could indicate a problem.
