Yea, He Looks Good. Which Im Surprised He Lived His Whole Life Walking Around The House and Outside!
No Cage, No Lights, No Enclosure. They Fed It Store Bought Greens 90 Percent of The Time
So When I Visited Him, I Picked Some Rose Pedals, Grass, and Weeds, He Ate Everything Up Like A Pig :)

nice looking CDT, of course the fish and game who keeps track of CDT's says they now believe there are more in captivity than in the wild, many people may have one and I would say most of the time you could walk by their yard and not even know it, me being the exception of course my front yard is full of tortoise statues.

RE: Cousins Tortoise!

He is beautiful for sure....and they are a hearty group...my uncle use to have one when all us cousins were kids. "Tiny" was his name...Tiny use to stay in a back yard in downtown Los Angeles that was mostly dirt and old appliances, my uncle primarily gave him watermelon and lettuce...there were some groups of grass and weeds but that was it...no soaking not specialty lights/enclosures, etc. He even survived us stupid kids (we painted poor Tiny once with house paint kinda a salmon/pink and white color, stupid girls) and he lived tons of years after that with that darn paint wearing off over years...horrible what ignorance can lead to...now with that being said, I do not promote that type of care (as I know better now the benefits of a few more points of care LOL) but he was beautiful and lived so long...I think after my uncle moved to a house with a big yard and took Tiny I think he kinda escaped or was taken? Hard to say though...I am going to have to check with my uncle?
