Deffo need help, found her snuggling the log burner today. I know it is cold, but it can't be that good for her can it?

No. When in the house tortoises should be set up in an enclosure with heat and lights, not roaming around on the cold floor.

As Yvonne says, free roaming the house isn’t safe for a multitude of reasons, but that aside it’s also incredibly stressful, our homes do not mimic their natural environment. Don’t suppose you could try answering these questions? It’ll really help us getting you in the right direction❤️

What species of tortoise? Baby or adult?
In your enclosure..
What are your temperatures like all over? Ie basking temp(directly under the bulb), overall day temps(middle and cooler side), night temps?
What kind of basking bulb is being used specifically? Packaging photos are good if you have any
Do you use indoor uv? If so what kind?
How’s humidity?
What’s the substrate?
What kind of monitoring do you have?
What’s diet been like with you?🙂

You need your Oun safe space so does your tortoise they taste test everything all that fabric cannot be digested or can lamp cords !
